Regulate Blood

1 TASTE
Sweet and warm


2 MERIDIANS
Liver


3 FUNCTIONS
1. To invigorate blood and regulate menstruation; 2. To reduce swelling.


4 INDICATIONS
1.Qi and blood stagnation in the liver manifested as irregular menstruation, dysmeorrhea or amenorrhea. Chinese rose flower (Yue Ji Hua) is used with Chinese angelica root (Dang Gui), Red sage root (Dan Shen) and Cyperus tuber (Xiang Fu).2.Scrofula and swellings. Chinese rose flower (Yuejihua) is used with Prunella spike (Xia Ku Cao), Tendrilledv fritillary bulb (Chuan Bei Mu) and oyster shell (Mu Li).


5 DOSAGE
3-6 g


6 COUTIONS
Excessive used of this herb may cause Diarrhea. It should be used with caution in cases with weakness or the spleen and stomach. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy.
