1. To invigorate blood and regulate menstruation; 2. To reduce swelling.


4 INDICATIONS
1.Qi and blood stagnation in the liver manifested as irregular menstruation, dysmeorrhea or amenorrhea. Chinese rose flower (Yue Ji Hua [3]) is used with Chinese angelica root (Dang Gui [4]), Red sage root (Dan Shen [5]) and Cyperus tuber (Xiang Fu [6]).2.Scrofula and swellings. Chinese rose flower (Yuejihua) is used with Prunella spike (Xia Ku Cao [7]), Tendrilledv fritillary bulb (Chuan Bei Mu [8]) and oyster shell (Mu Li [9]).


5 DOSAGE
3-6 g


6 COUTIONS
Excessive used of this herb may cause Diarrhea [10]. It should be used with caution in cases with weakness or the spleen and stomach. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy.
