Nei Jing

The Emperor asked: "Then how do we determine them?"

Qi Bo answered: "The stomach is the sea of water and grains. Its passing points are from Qichong (ST30) at the upper part to the Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point at the lower part. The penetrating (Chong) meridian is the sea of the twelve meridians. Its passing points are from the Dazhu (BL11) Influential point of bone at the upper part to Shangjuxu (ST37) The Lower He-Sea Point of the Large Intestine and Xiajuxu (ST39) The Lower He-Sea Point of the Small Intestine at the lower part. The chest is the sea of qi. Its passing points are from Yamen (GV15) and Dazhui (GV14) at the upper part to Renying (ST9) at the front side. The brain is the sea of marrow. Its passing points are from the Baihui (GV20) at the vertex down to the GV 16."
