The Emperor asked: "Then how do we determine them?"

Qi Bo answered: "The stomach is the sea of water and grains. Its passing points are from Qichong (ST30) [3] at the upper part to the Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point [4] at the lower part. The penetrating (Chong) meridian is the sea of the twelve meridians. Its passing points are from the Dazhu (BL11) Influential point of bone [5] at the upper part to Shangjuxu (ST37) The Lower He-Sea Point of the Large Intestine [6] and Xiajuxu (ST39) The Lower He-Sea Point of the Small Intestine [7] at the lower part. The chest is the sea of qi. Its passing points are from Yamen (GV15) [8] and Dazhui (GV14) [9] at the upper part to Renying (ST9) [10] at the front side. The brain is the sea of marrow. Its passing points are from the Baihui (GV20) [11] at the vertex down to the GV 16."
