46 Cases of Infantile Enuresis Treated with Bu Shen Zhi Yi Tang Combining with Tuina
All the 46 cases of infants are outpatients. The age is between 4-16 years old with 18 females and 28 males, 8.5 years old on average. Treatment: modify Bu Shen Zhi Yi Tang; one dose a day, be decocted with water, and orally take twice a day. The basic prescription is: Ma Huang, Yi Zhi Ren, Chang Pu, Jin Ying Zi and Duan Long Mu. Add Tu Si Zi, Rou Cong Rong and Wu Yao for kidney qi difficiency; add Dang Shen, Bai Zhu, Fu Ling, Shan Yao and Huang Qi for spleen and lung qi deficiency; add Long Dan Cao, Ze Xie, Mu Tong, Huang Qi and Chai Hu for damp heat in liver meridian. Tuina: knead on Dan Tian for 5 minutes, Shenshu (BL23) for 3 minutes, Jiuwei (CV15) Luo-Connecting Point for 3 minutes and Sanyinjiao (SP6) for 6 minutes. One course of the treatments above are 14 days, and 2 days break between the courses.
Treatment results: the total effective rate is 91.2%, and the shortest course is one course while the longest is 5 courses.
