We use self-built Zhi Ke Ping Chuan Fang treat 193cases of cough and asthma, among which, there are 165 cases of bronchitis, 18 cases of peribronchitis, 6 cases of lower right lung pneumonia, 4 cases of lower left lung pneumonia, the patients’ age is between 3 and 61 years old. Treatment result: total effective rate is 96.8%. Treatment method: basic prescription: toast Ma Huang [3] 9g, Qian Ri Hong 15g, toast Pi Pa Ye [4] 15g, Chan Tui [5] 15g, Xing Ren [6] 12g, roast Bai Bu [7] 12g, Jie Geng [8] 9g, Shi Wei [9] 12g, Ai Di Cha 12g, Lai Fu Zi [10] 9g, Gan Cao [11] 3g. Modification: adding Shi Gao [12] 20g, Di Long [13] 12g if there is more heat; adding Su Zi [14] 12g, Zi Yuan 15g if there is more cold; adding Xuan Shen [15], Mai Men Dong [16], Sha Shen [17], Sheng Di Huang [18] 15g respectively if there is more dry symptom; adding roast Kuan Dong Hua [19], Bai Qian [20] 12g respectively if there is severe cough; adding whole Gua Lou [21] 15g, Si Gua Luo 12g if there is chest pain; adding prepared Da Huang [22], Fan Xie Ye [23], Huo Ma Ren [24] 9g respectively if there is constipation; adding Chuan Bei Mu [25], Hai Fu Shi [26] 12g respectively if there is yellow thick sputum; adding Ban Lan Gen [27], Ma Bo [28] 12g of each respectively.
