Sweet, bitter and cold


2 MERIDIANS
Large intestine


3 FUNCTIONS
To purge feces downward


4 INDICATIONS
Constipation. Senna leaf (Fan Xie Ye) is used alone, or it is used with Immature bitter orange (Zhishi (BL52)) and Magnolia ( Hou Po).


5 DOSAGE
1.5-3 g for mild constipation; 3-10 g for severe c
