96 cases of epigastric pain treated with Wei Tong Ning Tang [1]

All these 96 cases of patients are mainly epigastric pain with 34 cases of chronic superficial gastritis, 18 cases of chronic atrophic gastritis, 36 cases of gastrointestinal neurosis, 5 cases of gastroduodenal ulcer, and 3 cases of gastric cancer. Treatment: self-made Wei Tong Ning Tang: Chai Hu [3], Zhi Shi [4], Bai Shao [5], Gao Liang Jiang [6], Xiang Fu [7], Wu Yao [8], Bai He [9] and Gan Cao [10]. Add Yu Jin [11], Mu Xiang [12] and Qing Pi [13] for stagnation of liver and stomach qi; add Mu Dan Pi [14], Shan Zhi and Huang Lian [15] for heat stagnation of liver and stomach; add Wu Ling Zhi, Dan Shen [16] and wine made Da Huang [17]; add Mai Dong, Yu Zhu [18] and Shi Hu [19] for deficiency of stomach yin; add Huang Qi [20], Gan Jiang [21] and Sha Ren [22] for deficiency and cold of spleen and stomach; increase the dose of Gao Liang Jiang, and add Wu Zhu Yu [23] and Chen Pi [24] for invasion from pathogenic coldness; add Shan Zha [25], Shen Qu [26] and Lai Fu Zi [27] for food stagnation in stomach. Besides, add Chuan Lian Zi [28] and Yan Hu Suo [29] for severe pain; add Wu Zhu Yu and Wa Leng Zi [30] for pantothenic acid. 10 days treatments are one course, and observe the curative effect after 3 courses. Stop taking other drugs during treatment period and forbids the eating of irritating foods.

Treatment result: the total effective rate is 94.8%.
