Clinical Observation on Treatment of 30 Cases of Chronic Renal Failure Given by Fu Zheng Hua Zhuo Huo Xue Tang Made by Professor Qi Zhang [1]

There are 30 outpatients from Urology Department of Guangdong province TCM hospital, who are diagnosed as chronic renal failure, serum creatinine (Scr) 178-707 μmol/L. It belongs to spleen-kidney deficiency, damp obstruction and stasis blockage according to TCM differentiation. Treatment method: based on general treatment, we add professor’s Fu Zheng Hua Zhuo Huo Xue Tang with the ingredients of Hong Shen 15g, Bai Zhu [3] 15g, Fu Ling [4] 15g, Tu Si Zi [5] 20g, Shu Di Huang [6] 10g, Yin Yang Huo [7] 15g, Huang Lian [8] 10g, Da Huang [9] 7g, Cao Guo [10] Ren 10g, Ban Xia [11] 15g, Tao Ren [12] 15g, Hong Hua [13] 15g, Dan Shen [14] 20g, Chi Shao [15] Yao 15g, Gan Cao [16] 15g. 2 months are one course.

Result: effective rate and stabilized rate is 83.3%.
