The ingredients of Self-built Qian Feng Tu Xing Tou Feng Tang: Qian Nian Jian [3] 12g, Lou Feng Fang 12g, prepared Tian Nan Xing [4] 30g, Tu Fu Ling [5] 30g, Tou Gu Cao 12g, Fang Feng [6] 12g. Indications: wind, cold, damp, heat, stasis, weakness etc syndrome. Modification: adding Qin Jiao [7], Qiang Huo [8] if there is migratory arthralgia. Add Shu Fu Zi [9], Xi Xin [10] if there is cold arthralgia. Add Fu Ling, Cang Zhu [11], Bai Zhu [12] if there is damp arthralgia. Add Ren Dong Teng, Shi Gao [13] (plaster) if there is heat arthralgia. Add Dan Shen [14], Chuan Xiong [15] if there is stagnation. Add Shu Fu Zi, Rou Gui [16] if there is yang deficiency. Add Shu Di Huang [17], Huang Jing [18] if there is yin deficiency. Add Huang Qi [19], Dang Shen [20] if there is Qi deficiency. Add Dang Gui [21], Shu Di Huang if there is blood deficiency. Add Wu Shao She, Chuan Shan Jia [22] if there is arthrentasis. Add Chuan Wu, Cao Wu if there is severe pain. Add Sang Zhi [23], Gui Zhi [24] if the arthralgia occurs in upper limbs, add Niu Xi [25] and Du Huo [26] if the arthralgia occurs in lower limbs.
