1.To dispel wind and dampness and clear the collaterals;2. To cool the blood and reduce swelling


4 INDICATIONS
1. Wind-damp obstruction syndrome manifested as rheumatic pain, spasm of the muscles and contraction of tendons. Chinese starjasmine (Luo Shi Teng [3]) is used with Acanthopanax bark (Wu Jia Pi [4]) and cyathula root (Niu Xi [5]).2.Sore throat and abscess. Chinese starjasmine (Luoshiteng) is used with Honeylocust thorn (Zao Jiao Ci [6]), Trichosanthes fruit (Gua Lou [7]), Frankincense (Ru Xiang [8]) and Myrrh (Mo Yao [9]) in the formula Zitong Linbao San.
