1. Herbs for Thoroughfare Vessel: Wu Zhu Yu [3], Ba Ji Tian [4], Gou Qi Zi [5], Gan Cao [6], Lu Xian Cao, Lu Rong [7], Zi He Che, Rou Cong Rong [8], Zi Shi Ying and Du Zhong [9], are used for tonifying qi of Thoroughfare Vessel; Dang Gui [10], Chuan Xiong [11], Dan Shen [12], Bie Jia [13], are used for tonifying blood of Thoroughfare Vessel; Mu Xiang [14] and Bin Lang, are used for descending reversed qi of Thoroughfare Vessel; Shan Yao [15] and Lian Zi [16] are used for consolidating collapse of Thoroughfare Vessel.
2. Herbs for Conception Vessel: Lu Rong, Fu Peng Zi and Zi He Che are used for tonifying qi of Conception Vessel, Gui Ban [17] and Dan Shen are used for tonifying blood of Conception Vessel; Bai Guo [18] is used for consolidating collapse of Conception Vessel.
3. Herbs for Belt Vessel: Sheng Ma [19] and Wu Wei Zi [20] are used for raising Belt Vessel; Long Gu [21], Mu Lu, Wu Zei Gu [22] and Chun Gen Pi are used for consolidating Belt Vessel; Ai Ye [23] and Gan Jiang [24] are used for warming coldness of Belt Vessel; Huang Qin [25], Huang Bai [26], Bai Zhi [27] Tan and Che Qian Zi [28] are used for removing dampness and heat of Belt Vessel; Dang Gui and prepared Di Huang are used for tonifying yin of Belt Vessel.

Others: Huang Qin, Bai Shao [29] and Gui Zhi [30] are used for Yang Link Vessel; Dang Gui and Chuan Xiong are used for Yin Link Vessel; Rou Gui [31] is used for opening Yin Heel Vessel; Chuan Shan Jia [32] is used for treating both Yin and Yang Heel Vessels; Fang Ji [33] is used for Yang Heel Vessel; Wu Wei Zi and Suan Zao Ren [34] are used for regulating yin and yang of Heel Vessels.
