4 INDICATIONS
1. Qi and blood stagnation manifested as chest pain, hypochondriac pain, amenorrhea and abdominal pain. Turmeric (Jiang Huang [3]) is used with Chinese angelica root (Dang Gui [4]), Curcuma root (Yu Jin [5]), Cyperus tuber (Xiang Fu [6]) and Corydalis tuber (Yan Hu Suo [7]).2.Wind-damp obstruction syndrome manifested as rigid neck, shoulder pain and motor impairment of the limbs. Turmeric (Jianghuang) is used with Notopterygium root (Qiang Huo [8]) and Chinese angelica root (Danggui) in the formula Shujing Tang.
