4 INDICATIONS
1. Cold-damp blocking and stagnating spleen and stomach manifested as epigastic and abdominal and fullness, and cold pain, vomiting and Diarrhea [3]. Tsaoko (Cao Guo [4]) is used with Magnolia bark (Huopo), Atractylodes rhizome (Cang Zhu [5]) and Pinellia tuber (Ban Xia [6]).2. Malaria. Tsaoko (Caoguo) is used with Dichroa root (Changshan) and Bupleurum root (Chai Hu [7]).
