4 INDICATIONS
1. Parasites in the intestines: a) hookworm-Basket fern (Guan Zhong [3]) is used with Torrya seed (Fei Zi [4]) and Areca seed (Bing Lang [5]); b) tapeworm-Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Omphalia (Lei Wan [6]) and Areca seed (Binglang); c) pinworm-Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Chinaberry bark (Kulianpi) and Carpesium fruit (He Shi [7]).2.Wind-heat common cold, warm-heat maculopapule and acute parotitis. Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Honeysuckle flower (Jin Yin Hua [8]), Forsythia fruit (Lian Qiao [9]), Isatis leaf (Da Qing Ye [10]) and Isatis root (Ban Lan Gen [11]).3. Extravasation of blood by heat manifested as vomiting of blood, epistaxis, bloody stool and functional uterine bleeding. Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Biota tops (Ce Bai Ye [12]), Agrimony (Xian He Cao [13]) and Carbonized petiole of windmill palm (Zong Lu Tan [14]).

30-50 g


6 COUTIONS
The carbonized herb is used to stop bleeding.
