Expel Parasites

1 TASTE
Bitter and slightly cold

3 FUNCTIONS
1. To kill parasites; 2. To clear heat and release toxins; 3. To stop bleeding


4 INDICATIONS
1. Parasites in the intestines: a) hookworm-Basket fern (Guan Zhong) is used with Torrya seed (Fei Zi) and Areca seed (Bing Lang); b) tapeworm-Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Omphalia (Lei Wan) and Areca seed (Binglang); c) pinworm-Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Chinaberry bark (Kulianpi) and Carpesium fruit (He Shi).2.Wind-heat common cold, warm-heat maculopapule and acute parotitis. Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Honeysuckle flower (Jin Yin Hua), Forsythia fruit (Lian Qiao), Isatis leaf (Da Qing Ye) and Isatis root (Ban Lan Gen).3. Extravasation of blood by heat manifested as vomiting of blood, epistaxis, bloody stool and functional uterine bleeding. Basket fern (Guanzhong) is used with Biota tops (Ce Bai Ye), Agrimony (Xian He Cao) and Carbonized petiole of windmill palm (Zong Lu Tan).


5 DOSAGE
30-50 g


6 COUTIONS
The carbonized herb is used to stop bleeding.
