4 INDICATIONS1. Yang deficiency of the spleen and stomach manifested as epigastric and abdominal cold pain, vomiting and Diarrhea [3]. Prickly ash peel(Huajiao) is used with Pilose asiabell root (Dang Shen [4]), Dried ginger (Ganjinag) and Malted barley (Yi Tang [5]) in the formula Da Jinzhong Tang.2. Roundoworm manidested as abdominal pain and vomiting Prickly ash peel (Huajiao) is used with Black plum (Wu Mei [6]),Dried ginger (Gan Jiang [7]) and Coptis root (Huang Lian [8]) in the formula Wumei Wan.
