Treatment of 85 Hyperplasia of Mammary Gland Given by Acupuncture [1]

There are 83 female and 2 male patients. Treatment method: Points have Rugen (ST18) [3] (Rugen (ST18) [4]), Shanzhong (Danzhong (CV17) Front-Mu Point of the Pericardium [5]), Yanglingquan (GB34) He-Sea Point, Influential Point of Tendon [6] (Yanglingquan (GB34) He-Sea Point, Influential Point of Tendon [7]), Sanyinjiao (SP6) [8] (Sanyinjiao (SP6) [9]), Taichong (LR3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point [10] (Taichong (LR3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point [11]); applying horizontal direction with 15°angle to ripple and 1.5 cun insertion depth on Rugen (ST18) with even method, applying oblique direction and 1 cun insertion depth on Shanzhong (CV17), applying 1.5 cun perpendicular on Yanglingquan (GB34) and Sanyinjiao (SP6), applying 0.5 cun perpendicular on Taichong (LR3) with needling sensation radiating upward and reducing method. Treatment is once a day, 10 times are one course, continuing 1 to 3 courses.
Treatment result: 65 cured, 20 obviously effective.
