Shaoyin-heat type is Shaoyin yin deficiency with heat manifestation. The main symptoms include irritability, not be able to lie down sleep, dry throat, sore throat, or Diarrhea [3] with thirst, purple-red tongue, thread and fast pulse etc. Shaoyin disorders are complicated. It has yang deficiency, yin deficiency, and yin yang both deficiencies. It also includes the heat symptom of interior deficiency cold plus exterior, as well as interior excess syndrome due to transforming to Yangming dryness.
