Zhifu Zhao

The council member of Chinese Psychosomatic Medicine Association, the assistant secretary-general of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Professional Committee of Sub-health, director of TCM Psychosomatic department in Guang An Men TCM Hospital attached to Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Zhao graduated from TCM College of Hebei Medical University in 1977, obtained his master's degree in Hunan Academy of TCM in 1983, and doctoral degree in Beijing University of TCM in 1987. From 1990 to 1991, Dr. Zhao had clinical training in the cardiovascular medicine department of Fuwai Hospital which belongs to Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical University. He also had medical psychology clinical training in the medical department of Beijing University in 1994. Dr. Zhao went to Hyogo Medical University and the medical department of Kyushu University in Japan 1995-1996 as visiting scholar for the research of modern psychosomatic medicine.

Dr. Zhao takes the lead in domestic Chinese medicine to carry out the psychosomatic theory and clinical research. Within a long period of clinical practice, he has given more than 100,000 treatments for patients. He has presided over the Chinese medicine psychosomatic medicine issues of National Natural Science Foundation and State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. On this basis, he founded the Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation theory of psychosomatic medicine. The theory offers a set of effective treatment methods of psychosomatic disorders and sub-health state. Using this theory to guide clinical diagnosis and treatment has a significant effect. He has been warmly welcomed by patients. At the same time as the methods of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation after the Febrile Diseases of Qing Dynasty, he has developed and filled the blank. He has published over 30 academic papers as well as 100 popular science articles on national and abroad magazines, and 6 professional books.
