3 FUNCTIONS
1. To subdue endogenous wind and stop spasms; 2. To Dispel toxins; 3. To dispel wind and stop pain.


4 INDICATIONS
1. Acute and chronic convulsions of tetany manifested as spasms, convulsions of the limbs and ophisthotonos. Centipede (Wu Gong [3]) is used with Scorpion (Quan Xie [4]), White-stiff silkworm (Baijiangcan) and Uncaria stem (Gou Teng [5]).2. Stubborn headache and rheumatic pain. Centipede (Wugong) is used with Scorpion (Quanxie), Gastrodia tuber (Tian Ma [6]), White-stiff silkworm (Baijiangcan) and Chuan Xiong [7] rhizome (Chuanxiong).


5 DOSAGE
1-3g; 0.6-1 g for powder


6 COUTIONS
This substance is toxic. Overdosing should be avoided. This substance is contraindicated during pregnancy.
