1. Scrofula and goiter. Ark shell (Wa Leng Zi [3]) is used with Seaweed (Hai Zao [4]) and Laminaria (Kun Bu [5]).2. Stomach pain and acid regurgitation. Ark shell (Walengzi) is used with Cuttlefish bone (Wu Zei Gu [6]).3. Subcutaneous nodules. Ark shell (Walengzi) is used with Burreed tuber (San Leng [7]), Zedoary (E Zhu [8]) and Turtle shell (Bie Jia [9]).
