4 INDICATIONS
1. Goiter manifested as enlarged neck and stifling sensation in the throat. Laminaria (Kun Bu [3]) is used with seaweed (Hai Zao [4]) and Sea clam shell (Haigeqao) in the formula kunbu Wan.2. Edema of the foot or general edema. Laminaria (Kunbu) is used with poria (Fu Ling [5]) and Alismatis rhizome (Ze Xie [6]).
