3 FUNCTIONS
1. To stop bleeding and promote the healing of wounds; 2. To invigorate blood and remove stagnations; 3. To stop pain


4 INDICATIONS
1. Hemorrhages due to external used, or it can be combined with Cattail pollen (Pu Huang [3]).2. Chronic ulcers. Dragon blood (Xue Jie [4]) is used with Frankincense (Ru Xiang [5]) and Myrrh (Mo Yao [6]) for external use.3. Swelling and pain due to blood stagnation caused by external injuries. Dragon blood (Xuejie) is used with Frankincense (Ruxiang) and Myrrh (Moyao) in the formula Qili San.


5 DOSAGE
1-1.5g in pill form


6 COUTIONS
This herb is contraindicated in the absence of sings of blood stagnation.
