4 INDICATIONS
1. Hemorrhages due to extravasation of blood by heat manifested as cough with blood, vomiting with blood, epistaxis, hematuria and uterine bleeding. Biota tops (Ce Bai Ye [3]) is used with Japanese thistle (Da Ji [4]), Small thistle (Xiao Ji [5]) and Imperata rhizome (Bai Mao Gen [6]).2.Hemorrhages due to deficiency and cold. Biota tops (Cebaiye) is used with Mugwort leaf (Ai Ye [7]).
