4 INDICATIONS
Hemorrhages due to extravasation of blood by heat; a) dysentery and bleeding due to hemorrhoids-Sophora flower (Huai Hua [3]) is used with Burnet root (Di Yu [4]); b) cough with blood and epistaxis-Sophora flower (Huaihua) is used with Biota tops (Ce Bai Ye [5]), Imperata rhizome (Bai Mao Gen [6]) and Agrimony (Xian He Cao [7]).
