3 FUNCTIONS
1. To regulate qi and stop pain; 2. To descend the perverse


4 INDICATIONS
qi and stop vomiting; 3. To strengthen the kidneys and stop asthma.


5 DOSAGE
1. Cold and qi stagnation manifested as epigastric and abdominal distension and pain. Eagle wood (Chen Xiang [3]) is used with Lindera root (Wu Yao [4]) and Costus root (Mu Xiang [5]).2.Cold in the stomach manifested as belching and vomiting Eagle wood (Chenxiang) is used with Cloves (Ding Xiang [6]) and Round cardamom seed (Bai Dou Kou [7]).3. Asthma due to failure to the kidneys in receiving qi. Eagle wood (Chenxiang) is used with prepared aconite root (Fu Zi [8]) and Cinnamon bark (Rou Gui [9]).
