4 INDICATIONS
1 Cold stagnation in the liver meridian manifested as hernia. Fennel fruit (Xiao Hui Xiang [3]) is used with Cinnamon bark (Rou Gui [4]) and Lindera root (Wu Yao [5]) in the formula Nuangan Jian.2. Cold in the stomach manifested as vomiting epigastric distension and pain. Fennel fruit (Xiaohuixiang) is used with Dried ginger (Gan Jiang [6]) and Costus root (Mu Xiang [7]).
