4 INDICATIONS
1. Damp-heat obstruction syndrome. Silkworm excrement (Can Sha [3]) is used with Tetrandra root (Fang Ji [4]), Coix seed (Yi Yi Ren [5]) and Talc (Hua Shi [6]) and the formula Xuanbi Tang.2. Eczema. The decoction of the herb is used for external washing.3. Turbid dampness blocking the spleen and stomach manifested as vomiting. Diarrhea [7], cramps and abdominal pain. Silkworm excrement (Cansha) is used with Scutellaria root (Huang Qin [8]), Chaenomeles fruit (Mu Gua [9]) and Evodia fruit (Wu Zhu Yu [10]) in the formula Canshi Tang.
