4 INDICATIONS
1. Constipation. Glauber salt (Mang Xiao [3])is used with Rhubarb (Da Huang [4]) in the formula Dachengqi Tang.2. Sore throat, ulcerated mouth, red eyes or boils, Glauber salt (Mangxiao) is used with Sodium borate (Pengsha) and Borneol (Bing Pian [5]) for external use.

10-15g


6 COUTIONS
this herb is contraindicated during pregnancy.
