4 INDICATIONS
1. Rhinorrhea manifested as headache, nasal obstruction, runny nose and loss of smell. Xanthium fruit (Cang Er Zi [3]) is used with Magnolia flower (Xinyi) and Dahurian angelica root (Bai Zhi [4]) in the formula Canger San.2.Wind-damp bi syndrome manifested as joint pain and spasms of the limbs. Xanthium fruit (Cangerzi) is used with clematis root (Wei Ling Xian [5]), Cinnamon bark (Rou Gui [6]), Atractylodes rhizome (Cang Zhu [7]) ahd Chuan Xiong [8] rhizome (Chuanxiong).


5 DOSAGE
3-10 g


6 COUTIONS
This herb is contraindicated in herd-ache due to blood deficiency. Overdosing will produce toxins and give rise to vomiting, abdominal pain and Diarrhea [9].
