Wu Wei Xiao Du Yin gets functions to clear toxic heat, can treat carbuncle, redness, swelling, burning sensation and pain on local regions. Writer applies modification of Wu Wei Xiao Du Yin to treat fluid of pelvic cavity and obtains good effect. There are totally 95 cases of fluid of pelvic cavity from our out-patients department of hospital. Treatment method: Jin Yin Hua [3] 20g, Pu Gong Ying [4] 30g, Zi Hua Di Ding [5] 15g, Ye Ju Hua [6] 15g, Fu Ling [7] 15g, Ze Xie [8] 15g, Yi Yi Ren [9] 30g, Bai Hua She She Cao 20g, Mu Dan Pi [10] 12g, Wu Zei Gu [11] 30g, Hou Pu 12g. Clinical modification: add Ku Shen [12] 20g, Bai Xian Pi [13] 20g for pruritus vulvae; add Huang Bai [14] 15g for redness, swelling and ulcer on pudendum. 15 days are one treatment course, wastes of herbs after decoction can be externally used on abdomen, one time every night.
Result: total effective rate is 91.8%.
