Facial Seborrheic Dermatitis Treated by Internal and External Treatment of Chinese Herbs [1]

Writer has applied internal and external treatment of Chinese herbs for 50 cases of seborrheic dermatitis on face and selected 30 cases as control group, obtained good effect. Treatment methods: treatment group: internal and external treatment of Chinese herbs, continue 3 to 4 courses. Internal herbs: Fang Feng [3] 10g, Jin Jie 10g, Sheng Di Huang [4] 25g, Can Tui 8g, Bai Ji Li [5] 15g, Mu Dan Pi [6] 15g, Chi Shao [7] 15g, Bai Xian Pi [8] 15g, Dang Gui [9] 10g, He Shou Wu [10] 10g. Mix with 400ml clear water, decoct to 100g, then repeat, orally take when warming, twice a day. External herbs: Dian Dao San ( our hospital made ): Liu Huang, Da Huang [11], mix with warming water to make paste, apply on local region. 20 to 30 minutes every time, twice a day. Control group: oral vitamin, three times a day, 2% ketoconazole ointment, twice a day. Result: curative rate of treatment group is much higher than that of control group.
