There are 145 cases that are come from clinical department in our hospital. All the patients took west medicine anti-allergy treatment for 7-10 days in our hospital or other hospital, but the effects are not satisfactory, we will treat these cases by TCM method. The clinical syndrome types: (1) Wind-heat attack exterior, 97 cases: minutes or hours after the use of sensitized medicine, there is protruding urticaria on the skin, it quickly spread to the whole body with the various size, red color, extremely itching which can relieve when it is cool and become severe when it is hot, there are irritability, dry-hot body and disliking coat and quilt, uncomfortable diet and sleep, dry mouth and willing to drink, common stool and urine, red tongue with thin yellow tongue coating, float frequent pulse. Prescription: Sang Ye [3], Ju Hua [4], Bo He [5], Jing Jie [6], Fang Feng [7], Chan Tui [8] (without head and feet), white Jiang Can [9], Zi Cao [10], Jin Yin Hua [11], Lian Qiao [12], Mu Dan Pi [13], Chi Shao [14] Yao, Jie Geng [15], raw Gan Cao [16]. (2) Excessive evil toxicity, 30 cases: several days after use of the sensitized medicine, there emerge single or many wheals, dark purple color, it gradually spread to the whole body, with extremely itching, it become severe after scratching, combining with irritability, insomnia, dry mouth or bitter taste, oliguria with reddish urine, constipation, red tongue with thin yellow or thick yellow coating. Prescription: Zi Cao, Xuan Shen [17], Ge Gen [18], Ye Ju Hua, Chi Shao Yao, Mu Dan Pi, Sang Ye, Ju Hua, Bai Jiang Can, Chan Tui, Fang Feng, Ye Jiao Teng. (3) Yin deficiency wind dryness, 18 cases: the patients are commonly thin and weak, original yin deficiency, 5-7 days after using of sensitized medicine, itching always emerges during hot shower, or wear overly warm coat or quilt, after scratching, wheal (urticaria) comes out with red color on the four limbs, or breast and back, or head and face, neck and nape, seldom spreading to the whole body, combining with skin dryness, dry mouth, irritability, insomnia, poor appetite, yellow urine, dry stools, red tongue with little body fluid, prescription: Shu Di Huang [19], Dang Gui [20], Chuan Xiong [21], Bai Shao [22] Yao, raw Huang Qi [23], Jing Jie, Fang Feng, Bai Ji Li [24], Hang Bai Ju, Sang Ye, Bo He, Jiang Can, Chan Tui (without head and feet), Gou Qi Zi [25], Nu Zhen Zi [26], raw Gan Cao.
Result: the total effective rate is 98.6%.
