Clinical Research of Treatment of Infantile Enuresis Given by Yi Niao Ling [1]

We use Yi Niao Ling to treat 80 cases of infantile enuresis and compare with the contrast group (80 cases), satisfactory result was achieved. All the patients are  primary enuresis, congenital spina bifida and disease of kidney pelvis, bladder. Treatment method: as for treatment group: Yi Niao Ling with the ingredients of Sang Piao Qiao 15g, Yi Zhi Ren [3] 12g, Jin Ying Zi [4] 15g, Dang Shen [5] 10g, Bai Zhu [6] 9g, Fu Ling [7] 9g, toast Gan Cao [8] 3g, all the herbs are grinded to powder. Decreasing the dosage of Ma Huang [9] to half if there is excessive sweating, adding Tu Si Zi [10] 12g for the patients with kidney deficiency. Taking method: 3 times per day, 3g for patients of 3-4 years old, 4g for patients of 5-6 years old, 4.5g for patients of 7-0 years old, 5g for patients of 10 years old, taking the description with warm water. 2 weeks are one course, it should be generally taken for 1-3 courses. As to contrast group: Yi Niao Ding, the taking method: 3mg/kg weight, 3 times per day. Result: in treatment group, 42 cases were recovered, 12 cases have effect. In contrast group, 30 cases were recovered, 16 cases have obvious effect, 8 cases have effect.
