Herpes Zoster Treated with Puncture and Electromagnetic Wave [1]

There are 26 cases of herpes zoster in this group. The pathological changes distribute in the chest, rib and lumbus. Treatment: (1) local points: Ashi points. Puncturing in the center of zoster by parallel surrounding needling after sterilizing the periphery of zoster or intensive region with 75% alcohol. The space between both needles is  1.5~2 cun. The affected regions are treated with therapeutic instrument for 30 minutes. (2) Corresponding meridian point selection: according to the clinical syndrome differentiation, selecting Weizhong (BL40) He-Sea Point, Lower Confluent Point [3] (Weizhong (BL40) He-Sea Point, Lower Confluent Point [4]), Taichong (LR3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point [5] (Taichong (LR3) Shu-Stream, Yuan-Source Point [6]), Dazhui (GV14) [7] (Dazhui (GV14) [8]), Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point [9] (Waiguan (TE5) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point [10]), Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point [11] (Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point [12]), Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point [13] (Yinlingquan (SP9) He-Sea Point [14]) and Dabao (SP21) Major Luo-Connecting Point of the Spleen [15] (Dabao (SP21) Major Luo-Connecting Point of the Spleen [16]) alternately with reducing method, and the needles are remained for 30 minutes after qi arrivals. Treatment results: in this group, the disease courses are 6 days at least and 15 days at most. The total effect is 100%.
