Chinese Medicine Classic / Nei Jin [2]

The normal winter pulse is slightly sinking with stomach qi. If the pulse is excessively sinking with scant stomach qi, the kidneys suffer. If only sinking without stomach qi, it is fatal. If surging and full pulse accompanies sinking pulse, the disease will occur in the summer. If extremely surging and full, the disease will occur at once. All genuine qi of the zang-organs descends to the kidneys, and the kidneys store the qi of the bones and marrow.
