Chinese Medicine Classic / Nei Jin [2]

The normal pulse of late summer is slightly soft and weak with stomach qi. If the pulse is excessively weak with scant stomach qi, the spleen suffers. If excessively weak and not accompanied by stomach qi, it is fatal. If sinking pulse is seen with the soft and weak pulse, the disease will occur in the winter. If extremely sinking, the disease will occur immediately. All genuine qi of the zang-organs moistens the spleen, and the spleen stores the qi of the flesh.
