Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) combining with intestinal metaplasia and / or atypical hyperplasia belong to precancerous lesion. This research aims at the observation of reversion function of Huang Qi [3] for elder CAG combining with intestinal metaplasia and/or atypical hyperplasia. There are 60 cases of CAG, which are randomly divided into 2 groups including 30 cases in Huang Qi group and 30 cases in contrast group. Method: we use 30ml Huang Qi injection adding 250ml 5% glucose injection for treatment of 20 days, then oral taking Huang Qi oral solution 10ml, 3 times each day for 10 days, meanwhile, giving ranitidine, sucralfate etc. For contrast group, we use the same method mentioned above except Huang Qi, two groups were treated for 2 courses (2 months). Result: endoscopy and pathological examination show that the effective rate is 80% in Huang Qi group and 13.33% in contrast group before and after treatment.
