110 Cases of Gastrodynia Treated with Both Clearing and Tonifying Methods [1]

The author have treated 110 cases of gastrodynia by clearing awing heat and strengthening spleen prescriptions and received satisfying effects. Treatments: prescription: Huang Qin [3], Huang Lian [4], Jin Yin Hua [5], Mu Xiang [6], Zhi Qiao, Tai Zi Shen [7], Bai Zhu [8], Fu Ling [9], Bai Shao [10], Gan Cao [11] and Dan Shen [12]. Add Chen and Dai Zhe Shi [13] for severe vomiting; add Wu Zei Gu [14] and Wa Leng Zi [15] for acid regurgitation; add Chai Hu [16] and Yan Hu Suo [17] for hypochondriac pain and distention; add Jiao San Xian for food retention; subtract Dan Shen and add Bai Ji [18] and San Qi [19] for hemafecia. Treatment results: the total effective rate is 97%.
