There are 53 patients including 23 cases of simplex hyperlipidemia, 8 cases of combination with hypertension, 6 cases of combination with diabetes, 16 cases of combination with arteriosclerosis, coronary heart disease. Treatment method: oral taking Nao Xin Tong (patent herb) and No.1 capsule: it belongs to pure herbal preparation with ingredients of Huang Qi [3], Ru Xiang [4], Mo Yao [5], Quan Xie [6], Di Long [7], Tao Ren [8], Hong Hua [9], Dan Shen [10] etc, 3 capsules per time, 3 times each day, oral taking half hour after every meal, 30 days are one course. You should take 2 courses continuously. Acupuncture treatment: choosing points of Baihui (GV20) [11], Qianding (GV21) [12], Houding (GV19) [13], Tongtian (BL7) [14], Fengchi (GB20) [15], Shang Lian Quan, Hegu (LI4) Yuan-Source Point [16], Neiguan (PC6) Luo-Connecting Point the Eight Confluent Point [17], Zusanli (ST36) He-Sea Point [18]. Acupuncture method: choosing 8-16 points each time, puncturing them one time every 2 days, retaining the needles 30 minutes each time, manipulating needle one time every 10 minutes, taking lifting-thrusting-twisting-rotating as main manipulation method. 10 times are as one course, 3-5 days' break between every two courses, continuously performing 2 courses.Treatment result: within 53 cases, there are 29 cases showed obvious effect, 21 cases with effect, 3 cases without effect.
