3 FUNCTIONS
1. To tonify the spleen and stop Diarrhea [3]; 2. To strengthen the kidneys and control essence; 3. To dispel dampness and relieve leukorrhea


4 INDICATIONS
1.  Chronic diarrhea due to deficiency of the spleen. Euryale seed (Qian Shi [4]) is used with White atractylodes (Bai Zhu [5]) and Dioscorea (Shan Yao [6]).    2.  Seminal emissions or leukorrhea. Euryale seed (Qianshi) is used with Flattened milkvetch seed (Sha Yuan Zi [7]) and Cheokee rose hips (Jin Ying Zi [8])
