Clear Heat

1 TASTE
Bitter, pungent and cold


2 MERIDIANS
Heart and liver


3 FUNCTIONS
To clear heat and release toxins


4 INDICATIONS
1. Boils, carbuncles and furuncles. Viola (Zi Hua Di Ding), is used with Dandelion herb (Pu Gong Ying), Wild chrysanthemum flower (Yejuhua) and Honeysuckle flower (Jin Yin Hua).2. Snake bite. The juice of the fresh herb is taken orally and externally.


5 DOSAGE
10-16 g


6 COUTIONS
This herb is contraindicated in cases with deficient cold syndrome.
