Lung and liver


3 FUNCTIONS
1.To dispel wind and clear heat; 2.To brighten eyes and remove visual obstruction; 3.To stop bleeding


4 INDICATIONS
1. Wind-heat exterior syndrome or wind and heat in the liver meridian manifested as red eyes, excessive tearing, blurred vision and corneal opacity. Shave grass (Mu Zei) is used with Cicada slough (chan-tui), Pipewort (Gu Jing Cao), Prunella spike (Xiakrucao) and Tribulus fruit (Bai Ji Li)2. Hemorrhoidal bleeding. Shave grass (Muzei) is used with Scutel-laria root (Huang Qin) and Burnet root (Di Yu).


5 DOSAGE
3-10 g


6 COUTIONS
This herb should be used with caution during pregnancy.
