External Medicine

Male sterility is caused by many reasons. In the modern medicine, it includes sperm decrease, lack of sperm, time extension of semen liquefaction, sperm malformation and impotence, etc. According to the differentiation of Chinese medicine, it is roughly divided into 3 types, viz. deficiency of kidney, blood stasis and damp heat. Treatment: prescription: Yin Yang Huo 100g; Sha Yuan Zi, Ba Ji Tian, Gou Qi Zi, Shan Zhu Yu, raw Di Huang, Tu Si Zi, Xian Mao, He Shou Wu, Fu Ling, Ze Xie, 60g for each; kidney of yellow dog, one piece. For kidney deficiency, Hong Shen 50g, Du Zhong 50g, Huang Jing 50g and Lu Rong 20g are added; for blood stasis, Niu Xi 50g, Chuan Xiong 50g and Wu Gong 20g are added; for damp heat, She Chuang Zi, Bi Xie and Huang Bai are added, each of which is 50g; for impotence, Yang Qi Shi 50g and Suo Yang 50g are added. All these prescriptions above are grinded into powder, or honeyed pills (10g for each).  Twice every day with oral administration; one month treatment is made one course. Results: the curative rate is 76% and effective rate is 16%.
