Ying Su Ke

Stabilize & Bind

1 TASTE
Sour, astringent, neutral and toxic


2 MERIDIANS
Lung, large intestine and kidney


3 FUNCTIONS
1. To astringe the lungs; 2. To astringe the intestines; 3. To stop pain


4 INDICATIONS
1. Chronic cough due to deficiency of the lungs. Poppy capsule (Ying Su Ke) is used with Black plum (Wu Mei).    2. Chronic Diarrhea or chronic dysentery. Poppy capsule (Yingsuke) is used with Coptis root (Huang Lian), Costus root (Mu Xiang)and Dried ginger (Gan Jiang).    3. Pain. Poppy capsule (Yingsuke)is used alone for the treatment of pain.


5 DOSAGE
3-10g (Fried with honey, the herb is used for coug
